Youngstown Ohio Zombie Crawl 2013

Last night a horde of Zombies gathered in Youngstown, Ohio at the B&O Station located at the bottom of the "Mr. Peanut" bridge. The Youngstown police department stormed the area in hopes to contain the horde. At first the police were able to contain the zombies but there were just to many of them. With police sirens blaring, the zombie horde broke the police lines and began slowly crawling up the bridge and descended upon the helpless city. This is the only known video of the walking dead horde.

Youngstown Ohio Zombie Crawl 2012

Saturday night a Zombie outbreak occurred in Youngstown, Ohio. A Zombie horde hundreds strong shambled over the Red "Mr. Peanut" bridge into the downtown square. The cold and rainy weather did not deter the zombies from their march into bar after bar after bar.

Zombie Crawl And My 2000th Post

It was late in the evening and my best friend Gumby and I were walking home from the bar. Suddenly I got a text from my son saying a zombie outbreak was in progress and the city was being over run with the walking dead.

After absorbing the news, we picked up our pace to return to my zombie fortress, (Yes folks, I have prepared for the zombie apocalypse) when a horde of zombies blocked our path.

The zombies spotted us and we stopped in our tracks. I tell Gumby that I was glad I decided to wear my Nike running shoes. Gumby, looking frightened out of his mind said, "It doesn't matter what type of shoes you're wearing dude, you're not going to outrun the horde. There's to many of them."

I replied back to Gumby after doing a few quick stretches, "I don't have to outrun the horde, I just have to out run you!"

PS: This is the Grassy Knoll Institute's 2000th post. How befitting it is during the Halloween season, posting about the Zombie outbreak, and me throwing Gumby under the bus. (His nick name is sled)

I want to thank everyone past, present, and future who have visited my secret lair and shared a few laughs with me. I truly appreciate it.

Happy Halloween

Youngstown Zombie Crawl 2011

Youngstown, Ohio held it's third annual Zombie Crawl last night as hundreds of locals donned their zombie clothes and painted up their faces to prepare for the zombie apocalypse. Naturally, it began at dusk as the zombie horde that was gathered at the bottom of the "Peanut" bridge began their march over the bridge.

The zombie horde reached the other side of the bridge and they slowly filtered onto West Federal Street en-route to the town square where a select few zombies would perform Michael Jackson's classic song, Thriller.

After the very entertaining performance of Thriller, the zombies began to collect once again to begin their zombie crawl. I caught this one screeching zombie as he walked the city streets of Youngstown.

The third annual Youngstown Zombie Crawl was a huge success. At the start of the crawl, there were enough zombies walking to cover the entire bridge as they approached West Federal Street. There were also hundreds of spectators lining the bridge and streets as the zombies paraded by. Certainly a fun time was had by all.

Happy Halloween
