Apple Barn - Gatlinburg - Chicken Dinner
The Apple Barn, located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is one of my favorite restaurants. The reason are simple. Excellent home style cooking food. Reasonable prices. Good service. Cheerful and nice employee's. As you can see, I ordered the chicken planks dinner with mashed potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese, fresh rolls, plus a diet Coke.

The chicken was hot, crispy, and excellent tasting. The mashed potatoes were real, not the fake flakes from a box. The mac and cheese hot and good. And the roll, fresh, hot, and tasty. All for about 12 bucks.

The Grassy Knoll Institute scores 5 out of 5 shots and recommends Apple Barn for dinner.

Sister Mary Badass walked the streets of San Juan Puerto Rico with confidence knowing her legendary eraser release was not only deadly but lightning fast. Jaun and Hector, survivors of 8th grade Catholic school attempt to blend in to the background after learning the hard lesson not to attack Catholic nuns. The New York Yankee's could have used Bad-Ass this season.

With the ever changing Internet experience as everything is shifting to smart phone access and 140 characters or less, the non commercial personal blog is quickly becoming extinct. I do not know what is in store for next year, or even tomorrow, or the direction this blog will take if any but once again I appreciate the patronage.
