Beatles - Introducing The Beatles - 1964

introducing the beatles record album
Introducing The Beatles
Introducing The Beatles was the first album released in the United States. This album, printed by Vee Jay Records burst on the scene in 1964, just several months before Capital Records released their version of the first Beatles album, Meet The Beatles. Of course a legal battle ensued and Capital won the lawsuit and Vee-Jay was ordered to pull their records by October.

R.I.P. John Lennon

December 8, 1980, I was upstairs in my room listening to the radio with my headsets on high volume. The radio disc jockey broke in and announced that John Lennon was just gunned down in front of his apartment in New York City. He was shot four times in the back. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

For some reason, I'm feeling old today. I grew up listening to the Beatles. I just knew that the "Paul Is Dead" was all a hoax. I was pissed off when Yoko broke up the band.

Lennon would have been 71 years old.

Instant Karma's gonna get you
Gonna knock you right on the head
You better get yourself together
Pretty soon you're gonna be dead
What in the world you thinking of
Laughing in the face of love
What on earth you tryin' to do
It's up to you, yeah you

Beatles - Revolver Album - 1966

The Beatles Revolver Record Cover

The Beatles Revolver album was released in the Summer of 1966, an album where the Beatles introduced their psychedelic sound and lyrics. It was also part of the 'Paul Is Dead' hoax that the band was playing on the public. (It is alleged that Paul McCartney died in a car crash and John, George, and Ringo covered the death up and replaced Paul with a look-a-like)

Beatles Revolver Back Cover
Beatles Revolver Back Cover
The back cover is set in a dark recording studio with the Fab Four sitting comfortably wearing sunglasses in the dark.

Revolver offered 11 tracks with Paul on lead vocals on five of them, George on three tracks, Jon on two, and Ringo with one.

Side One Tracks: 1) Taxman 2) Eleanor Rigby 3) Love You To 4) Here There And everywhere 5) Yellow Submarine 6) She Said She Said

Side Two Tracks: 1) Good Day Sunshine 2) For No One 3) I Want To Tell You 4) Got To Get You into My Life 5) Tomorrow Never Knows

The song Got To Get You Into My Life angered parents in the 1960's. They believed the lyrics spoke of heroin drug addiction and that the Beatles condoned the use. The exact lyrics are below. You be the judge.

I was alone, I took a ride,
I didn't know what I would find there
Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there

Ooh, then I suddenly see you,
Ooh, did I tell you I need you
Every single day of my life

You didn't run, you didn't lie
You knew I wanted just to hold you
Had you gone, you knew in time, we'd meet again
For I had told you

Ooh, you were meant to be near me
Ooh, and I want you hear me
Say we'll be together every day

Got to get you into my life

What can I do, what can I be,
When I'm with you I want to stay there
If I'm true I'll never leave
And if I do I know the way there

Ooh, then I suddenly see you,
Ooh, did I tell you I need you
Every single day of my life

Got to get you into my life
Got to get you into my life

I was alone, I took a ride,
I didn't know what I would find there
Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there

Then suddenly I see you,
Did I tell you I need you
Every single day...

Beatles - Abbey Road 1969

Beatles Abbey Road Conspiracy Record Album
Beatles Abbey Road Conspiracy Record Album
Here come old flattop he come grooving up slowly
He got joo-joo eyeball he one holy roller
He got hair down to his knee
Got to be a joker he just do what he please

The Beatles, the most popular rock band in the world, created their biggest selling album, Abbey Road, as their last album ever recorded. In 1969, the Beatles fab four were nothing of the sort. Bickering and infighting over Yoko and where the band was heading had Paul and John constantly fighting. However, the music did not suffer as Abbey Road produced classic hits such as Come Together, Something, Here Comes The sun, Octopus's Garden, and The End.

This album also is shrouded with conspiracy as the Paul is dead hoax was at its pinnacle of popularity. Supposedly the album cover, showing the Beatles crossing Abbey Road, depicted an English burial scene. John, dressed in white was the angel leading the way. Ringo, dressed in black as the minister. Paul, dressed in a blue suit, the dead corpse, and George, dressed in jeans, as the grave digger. Also, Paul was left handed but was holding his cigarette in his right hand. Paul is also out of step with the other Beatles. And the license plate on the Volkswagon on the left, it says 28IF, as in Paul would 28 if he were still alive. In the background, three lads look on, depicting the surviving Beatles, and the four are walking to the graveyard. You can see the grave yard fence in the background.

The back of Abbey Road had several clues as well. The letter S in the Beatles has a crack through it signifying the Beatles are broken up with Paul being dead. And if you count up all the bricks on the wall, it is the number of songs released by Lennon and McCartney. (Not really, I just made that up.)
The back cover also has the song titles and the famous Apple logo.

The actual vinyl record, with the famous green Apple logo. The front side had the entire label in green while side B had the Apple slice, as in the Apple cut in half. The Album is numbered, mine is SO-383 and the album is produced by George Martin.

It is such a pity that the Beatles never got back together again. They finally found their groove and Yoko split up the band.

Beatles Hoax - Paul Is Dead

Beatles Hoax Paul Is Dead
Beatles Hoax Paul Is Dead
Paul is not dead. And the Grassy Knoll Institute says so.
The Beatles Abbey Road Album has been shrouded in rumor and conspiracy from the day it went on sale in 1969. The rumor was / is that Paul McCartney died in a horrific car accident and to keep the most popular and profitable rock and roll band intact the remaining Beatles sought out and found a look alike replacement to carry on. The Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album offered clues of his demise with Paul facing backwards and the cover depicted a funeral scene for the Beatles. There are over 20 clues on the front and back album cover.

The album songs also gave audio clues that Paul was dead. Many people played their old vinyl records backwards to listen to special secret messages. The song, "Strawberry Fields Forever" at the very end has an audio track that said "I'm buried" hinting Paul was dead and in the ground.

Many other songs eluded to the hoax that Paul was dead.

The Walrus was Paul.

"A Day In The Life" depicted the events that led up to Paul's death.

"Come Together" over me as if Paul was in a casket.

Now, to the Abbey Road Album. Many clues are present with this album as well.

First, John is in white depicting an angel leading the dead to heaven. Ringo is dressed in black representing the minister and Paul's mourners. George is last and dressed in blue jeans representing the grave digger. Paul is third, and bare foot and out of step with the other three. Paul is left handed yet he holds a cigarette with his right hand. He has his best suit on, or his burial suit on. Paul is clean shaven.

The Volkswagen on the left, it's license plate says ( 28 IF ) meaning Paul would be 28 years old if he were still alive.

The gates on the left encircle the church from which the funeral service was held.

They are crossing the street on their way to the grave yard off to the right flanked by the black funeral car waiting for the immediate family.

The three lads in the distance represent the three remaining Beatles looking on in disbelief that Paul is dead.

The Grassy Knoll Institute believes this was merely an elaborate hoax intended to sell more records and to generate more press and hype on the Beatles. Some ask why they needed more press than usual. After all, they were the Beatles. Well, remember, back in the 60's and 70's, there was no MTV or cable TV for that matter. And since the Beatles stopped touring doing live shows, their only media blitz was their records and any press they could muster up.

What better way than to invent a hoax to keep the public tuned in to the every move that the Beatles made. Now, they didn't need to tour. The public sought them out. The hoax had worked.
