NASA Offers Proof Apollo 11 Not A Hoax

Nasa Offers Proof Moon Landing Was Not A Hoax
Nasa Offers Proof Moon Landing Was Not A Hoax
Today marks the 40th anniversary of the famed Apollo 11 (July 20th 1969) moon landing where astronaut Neil Armstrong took one giant leap for Mankind. That leap not only unified the world but touched off a conspiracy theory almost as large as the Kennedy Assassination. The crux of the conspiracy are supposed fake photos leading many to believe that the United States never landed on the moon but instead staged the landing on an elaborate Hollywood type movie set.

To add even more fuel to this conspiracy, NASA admitted this week that the original films of the historic landing have gone missing. No wait, not missing, erased and reused for some other mission. Cost savings was listed as the reason yet NASA continues to purchase $500 dollar hammers. See the logic.

The Grassy Knoll Institute believes we really did go to the moon and return safely back home, but the evidence NASA just released as proof is very week. The photo above supposedly shows the Lunar module, astronaut foot prints, and tools and equipment left behind from previous Apollo missions. To me, it looks like absolutely nothing.

NASA, you can do better. You can take a snap shot from space of a license plate. I'm sure you can snap a photo that shows a little more detail of the moon landing sites. Unless of course we never did go there.

BTW, the shadow of the lunar module seems to be reflecting opposite of the other objects in the photo.

Lure Of The Red Planet

President Bush announced that we the people are going back to the moon and then onward to Mars, the red planet, with manned flights. Bush wants to accomplish this within the next twenty years. He has pledged an additional $87 million dollars over the next 5 years for NASA to study and update the aging shuttle system and create new innovative ways to propel fragile men into the cold vastness of space to explore a planet that has been dead for a billion years. It doesn’t matter that we already invaded Mars with our robotic rovers that have captured breathtaking photo’s.

It doesn’t matter that we have a new and improved lander on Mars right now promising more advanced experiments to measure soil content, search for and find water, and for signs of life, past and present. It seems that robotic space exploration is far cheaper and safer than manned exploration. At this time, there is no need to risk the lives of our astronauts. Not to mention the tremendous expense for manned flight.

How does President Bush plan on paying for this space adventure? It has been estimated that the cost of the journey to Mars will be 1 trillion dollars. Yes, trillion. What does that mean to the average American taxpayer? It means that each and every one of us taxpayers will be shelling out over $6000.00 to the Mars project.

The Grassy Knoll Institute is all for the exploration of space, but the trillion dollars could be better used for a host of other critical needs in the United States.

I would much rather see adding more schools and teachers to educate our children.

I would rather see medical research to curb or cure deadly diseases.

I would rather see bolstering our homeless shelters making sure everyone has something to eat every night.

Hiring more police officers, rescue workers, and firefighters.

If I am going to kick in 6 plus grand of my hard earned tax money, I want more than pictures from a distant planet that I will never visit.

Also, I wondered why Bush has decided to make such a bold statement.

The answer is very simple. He wants to liken himself to President Kennedy and his bold initiative of landing a man on the moon and bringing him back safely by the end of the 1960′s decade. Kennedy introduced this during his inaugural address. These were pretty strong words for a newly elected president. Yet, the public was enamored with Kennedy and quickly got behind his dream pledging their support as well.

We were all in this together was the feel and atmosphere at that time. The Astronauts were elevated to elite status and NASA pushed forward and Armstrong finally took that historic first step on the moon in 1969.

Kennedy, even though assassinated, kept his pledge to the American people of landing a man on the moon, and NASA kept it’s end of the bargain by using all it’s resources to make the Apollo program successful. President Kennedy will be forever linked to Americans landing on the moon and the huge technology advance needed to make it happen.

President Bush understands this. He realizes that the American people are enamored with space and the planet Mars. What better way to go down in history than to be remembered as the president that dared the American public to expand into space to the planet Mars. I know he doesn’t want to be remembered as being the president that almost choked to death on a pretzel.

Yes folks, President Bush has a strategery!

Apollo Moon Hoax

moon hoax

The 60's. A very turbulent time in our history. President Kennedy was assassinated. His brother Bobby killed while campaigning for the presidency. Martin Luther King shot to death at a rally. The height of the Vietnam war, Woodstock. The Cuban Missile Crisis. Peace, Love, and rock and roll. The Cold War. And a race to land a man on the moon between the Soviets and the United States. A race fueled by a pledge from JFK to land a man on the moon by the turn of the decade. In July of 1969, the United States had won the space race and Neil Armstrong took that one long leap for mankind.

Or did he?......Was the moon landing and Apollo program a mass Government conspiracy to fool the American public and the world to prove that American technology and know how was second to none?

The Grassy Knoll Institute thinks not....Sure we all saw the FOX special on TV and were led to believe that the entire moon landing was done on a giant set created with the lavishness of Hollywood. The set was supposedly located somewhere in Nevada and the astronauts were shuttled in and out on a daily basis while they practiced their lines and routines. So, here we are, all the hoopla of the media talking of the Apollo launch and that Americans will be the first to reach the moon, and not one photo was taken of the astronauts on the shuttle bus going to and fro to the moon set? Not once has anyone of the thousands of people involved produced hard evidence of the hoax? Not one of the hundreds of officials has come clean and announced it was a hoax? Never once were any photos of the studio stage ever published. Why? Because there are none.

Moving on to the photos on the moon. The conspiracy theorists say they were doctored. This Photo shows the flag in the foreground, an astronaut saluting in the back, and the LEM lander. But where are the stars? There are no stars in the sky. Why? Well, any photographer will tell you that pointing the lens towards the sun blocks out the back ground and any stars would be to dim to show up against the suns contrast.

moon 03

This Photo begs the question, what are those two bright light blobs on the left? Are they spotlights to illuminate the landscape to get better pictures? Again, any photographer will tell you that all photos are never perfect and that at times, imperfections occur. Sometimes the film gets over exposed, and splotches appear on the film. Take a look at your own family album and I'm sure you will find several over exposed photos.

moon 4

This Photo shows that the photographer was above their target. Was he on a platform high above to get a good shot? Of course not. The moons surface is not flat. There are hills and peaks and crevices on the moon. You can see that the subject astronaut is standing in a depression and that the astronaut taking the photo was simply standing on a higher surface plane.

Let us also realize that these men were astronauts, not photographers, and also had a very cumbersome space suit to deal with when snapping pictures. Not every photo will come out perfect. Some should be out of focus, overexposed, and cropped badly.

In closing, not a single shred of hard evidence has ever been disclosed. Ever. Not one interview or press announcement by NASA or the Government.

The Grassy Knoll Institute believes that Neil Armstrong really did fly to the moon in the Apollo space rocket and that he did take that historic step on the moon in 1969.
