Hotel Conneaut Ghost Elizabeth 

The Grassy Knoll Institute paranormal investigators returned once again to Hotel Conneaut to document evidence that the elusive Matron of the Manor, Ghost Elizabeth, is still roaming the hallways after her tragic death in 1943.

Last evening we filmed several hours on the third floor in total darkness with nothing registering on our equipment. Perhaps Ghost Elizabeth was now at peace.

We were about to call it an evening when the room began to slowly glow. The light slowly lit the surrounding area illuminating the hallway and to our amazement a figure of a woman began to materialize right before our eyes. We snapped pictures quickly but in a matter of seconds Elizabeth with gone.

Again, strong proof that Hotel Conneaut is haunted by the Ghost of Bride Elizabeth.

Legendary Hotel Conneaut Ghost Elizabeth

Every year the Grassy Knoll Institute paranormal investigators return to Hotel Conneaut to document evidence that the elusive Matron of the Manor, Ghost Elizabeth is still roaming the hallways since her tragic death in 1943. This year we were filming the third floor hallway at night when a soothing yellowish light appeared in the window frame. The light slowly lit the surrounding area illuminating the hallway.

Several seconds later, an apparition appeared behind the willowy shear drapes forming the shape of a young woman. We snapped the above photo and then moved closer for a better vantage point. Elizabeth must have spotted our movement and quickly dissipated into the air.

Hotel Conneaut Ghost Elizabeth Levitates

The ghost of bride Elizabeth has been purportedly haunting Hotel Conneaut ever since World War II. Urban legend tells us Elizabeth died in a fire sparked by a lightning storm the night of her wedding. She perished in the fire while frantically searching for her husband, (A war hero on leave to marry his fiance) who mistakenly thought Elizabeth escaped the flames. For the past 60 plus years, Elizabeth has been roaming the hallways looking in every room in hopes of finding her lover.

In 2008, the Grassy Knoll Institute conducted an in depth investigation at the Hotel and collected plenty of empirical data snapping hundreds of photographs, taking hundreds of readings, and an in depth search and mapping of Elizabeth’s honeymoon room.

In early September this year, the Grassy Knoll Institute Paranormal team returned to Hotel Conneaut. This time, the results were more startling than previous encounters. In one very lucky encounter, we spied bride Elizabeth walking down the third floor hallway away from us. Sensing our presence, she turned to make eye contact with us, then quickly levitated and disappeared through the ceiling.

We believe Hotel Conneaut will have a very good 2011 season after this investigation goes public.
